For a few years, Tina was cooking on a restaurant flat-top, baking (U.P.) pasties, and managing 10 staff members, acquiring an array of experience that can only be learned by owning a business. Along with fully understanding the small business environment and lending a hand whenever needed, developing internal and external customer relationships has been instrumental to her success. Every day she provides excellent customer service and strives to create positive relationships with MRA members while fulfilling their training needs. In her free time, she likes to travel and enjoy the recreation Wisconsin has to offer.

Expertise

Besides owning a café and going the extra mile every day, Tina has over 15 years of experience in marketing and communications. Her professional background includes public relations, event planning, graphic design, HR, and business management. When it comes to MRA programs, she helps guide members to the most appropriate training plan and assists with program registrations. She also reaches out to MRA members so they’re aware of upcoming programs and events.

Key Accomplishments

  • Headed up multiple, annual fundraising events to raise over $100,000 each year for local chapter of a national nonprofit organization.
  • Successfully opened and operated a small-town café.

Education

Tina earned her bachelor of science in communications from UW-Platteville, WI, with minors in journalism and business.

Tina has participated in the American Cancer Society’s Road-to-Recovery Program
