Compensation is the perfect blend of numbers and people. That’s why I like it so much. I get to spend as much time as I want buried inside of an Excel spreadsheet, but at the end of the day, it’s about people and their individual contributions to an organization’s success.


Lisa is a hands-on compensation leader and practitioner with 25+ years of experience working with small domestic organizations as well as diversified global high-tech industries, including electronics and software manufacturing, hospitals and health systems, food and beverage manufacturing, and retail. She’s a self-starter who enjoys working independently as well as collaborating within cross-functional teams to understand business needs, industry trends, and stakeholder requirements to obtain buy-in.

Key Accomplishments

  • Partnered with company business leaders to design bonus and commission plans for sales, management and project teams. Led cross-functional design team for plan design, communications, financial modeling, system implementation, and roll-out for commission plans covering 500 reps.
  • Lead the design and implementation of hourly wage rate, traditional salary structures, and broad band salary programs. Recommend salary increase budget allocation, market adjustments, structure movement, and design merit matrices. Oversaw company-wide job evaluation project to align base pay, incentive pay, and pay practices for multiple, diverse business units. Project resulted in job family matrices that reduced the number of job titles by more than half, and communicated expectations for career paths, promotional eligibility, and internal and external equity.
  • Participated in global compensation projects to design and implement cross-business unit and international total compensation platforms to include job evaluation, job families and career paths, and annual and long-term variable compensation programs.


Lisa earned a master’s degree in business administration, accounting & Finance from the Keller Graduate School of Management, Chicago, IL, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois, Champaign, IL.
