Katie loves to learn about others and hear their stories, and is inspired to help others navigate pathways to achievement of their goals and their success. If you find yourself in a conversation with Katie and she’s asking a lot of questions, it is not because she is nosy, but because she truly finds your story fascinating and thinks she just may learn something along the way.

Expertise

For over 20 years, Katie has been working in the field of Human Resources including consulting, management, labor and employee relations, performance management, training and compensation as well as running her own business. Many of the positions she’s held have required her to study jobs, the labor market, organizations, and career paths in detail, preparing her well for helping others navigate the job market. Over the past several years she has become a certified coach focusing on how to help others be successful in their careers.

Education

Katie holds master’s degree in Human Resources & Labor Relations from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Professional & Community Activities

Katie is a big sister with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Dane County and a volunteer career advisor at Chandra’s House.
