Gina loves working out daily, enjoying the dedication and commitment to having a strong mind, healthy body, and balanced lifestyle. Her ability to effectively manage her time and multiple priorities attribute to her strong work ethic and exceptional project management and organizational skills. Gina continues to rely on her proven ability to evaluate existing operations, identify inefficiencies and redundancies, and innovate process improvements across the HR discipline in the various roles held. Like working out, having a defined goal established is critical when supporting the needs of our member companies and, more importantly, in providing them with top-notch service and products on time.

Gina’s passion is to help organizations mitigate risk by implementing new workplace policies, processes, and best practices for the past 10 years. Applying her extensive HR generalist and government compliance experience, she’s effectively led and partnered with senior leadership on enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives and training programs for multiple organizations. Additionally, with the ever-changing regulatory landscape, Gina keeps abreast of legal trends and government regulations, evidenced by her quantifiable record of success in timely Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs audit closures and delivering cost-effective, compliant solutions across a wide array of industries within the private sector.

Key Accomplishments

  • Oversaw the successful execution of 60 identified compliance risk initiatives, which helped minimize the company’s overall risk and exposure to liability per government regulations with 12 months
  • Outlined and executed the company’s first compliance refresher training program to support its affirmative action plan goals and diversity commitments
  • Successfully led a project team on implementing a centralized online hourly recruitment model across 90 retail locations within a 4-month period, which resulted in overall cost savings, reduction in administration time, improvement in employee retention, and ultimately, passing government audits

Education

Gina holds an HR Compliance Legal Certification from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, an HR Management Certification from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a master of arts degree in professional counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.

Professional and Community Activities

Gina has obtained her Qualified Administrator credential through the IDI, LLC and the FCRA Basic and Advanced Certifications from the Professional Background Screening Association. She’s attended multiple National ILG Conferences and was part of the local Chicago ILG chapter. For the past 5 years, Gina’s held various committee roles for the Hinsdale Juniors Woman’s Club, where she’s dedicated her time to helping raise funds for local organizations in need. She also volunteers as an HR mentor for the Human Resources Association of Greater Oak Brook (IL) chapter.
