Deb is an experienced HR leader, speaker, and trainer who brings her passion for transformational and collaborative leadership, employee engagement and change management to member relations. Colleagues and members describe Deb as thorough, objective, focused and dynamic. She is fast-paced and high-energy, and she enjoys the vitality, dynamics, and diversity of MRA members and potential members. Deb has found that sharing stories grounded in experience stimulates exchange!


Deb offers meaningful insights to existing, new, and prospective members in planning or strategizing creative solutions that deliver business results. From large corporations to small entrepreneurs, she truly enjoys building relationships and helping organizations recognize and achieve their desired successes. Deb's practical, consultative, and candid approach has been honed over almost 30 years in HR, including broad experience in rapid growth through mergers and acquisitions as well as workforce reductions. She has worked in major national and international organizations, both union and union-free, in sectors such as financial services, technology, travel management, nonprofit, and manufacturing.

Deb holds an undergraduate degree from UW–Eau Claire and has completed post-graduate work in adult education and human resources management.

Deb has several years of experience teaching at both the secondary and post-secondary levels, has extensive background working with a variety of nonprofit organizations, and has served on boards of directors.
