Rebecca Jacobs

Rebecca Jacobs

Director, Columbus, OH & General Counsel
I have never considered myself a perfectionist, but I do think of myself as a ‘professionalist’ … I always strive simply to be my very best.
Dolly Parton

Rebecca’s favorite thing to share with people is that she recently earned her black belt in tae kwon do. This has enriched both her personal and professional life, showing her persistence and willingness to work hard as well as the guts to try new and hard things. She likes referring to herself as the "Black Belt Lawyer!"

Rebecca’s expertise is in the legal field, both in the courtroom and the classroom. She was a defense litigator for 13 years and an adjunct lecturer at a major university for 16 years. She brings her knowledge of employment laws to help members understand HR compliance and her legal expertise to support MRA.
