Kathy's professional background includes a successful 20+ year career as a business development leader with expertise in strategic relationship management, marketing, sales, sales management and new product development in professional services organizations. With roots in advertising, over half of Kathy's career has been in the talent management and human resources arena managing partnerships with many of Wisconsin’s key business leaders. Kathy enjoys creatively solving workforce challenges and is a trusted advisor and partner to hundreds of business leaders at MRA member organizations!
Kathy joined MRA in 2008 in the new role of business solutions manager-strategic membership to develop and manage relationships with Wisconsin's largest organizations. Representing the Midwest's largest employer association, Kathy is the face of MRA to many of Wisconsin's largest public and private employers. She collaborates with these organizations and MRA subject matter experts to provide benchmark workforce information and best practices, tailored learning and development programs, HR compliance services, and workforce expert advice.
- Led efforts to tailor a leadership program for a growing global manufacturer to develop 250 identified high potentials and future leaders as part of global talent management initiative.
- Bridged the need for an interim HR Director at a regional healthcare organization while assisting to recruit new talent for the critical role.
- Managed partnership with global manufacturer to provide background investigations on hundreds of US employees across several US plants. Averaged 24-72 hour turnaround to meet critical key performance targets for hiring.
- Provided the solution for a Wisconsin-based, growing, national private organization for flexible hourly sourcing to fill several key HR and senior leadership roles.
Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater.
