Our PHR/SPHR certification preparation course is designed for individuals preparing for the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) exam. This program highlights key topics pertaining to the HR body of knowledge that may be covered in the exam. Our certified experts will share effective test-taking strategies, practice sample test questions, and provide a holistic framework for understanding how information can be applied to the exam questions.

In-Person & Virtual Classroom Options
Whether you prefer to attend class from the convenience of your home/office, or want to attend class in an actual classroom, we have options for you. In-person and virtual classes cover the same content even though the duration of the class is different. The in-person classroom format has more back-and-forth conversation, which requires more class time than a controlled virtual classroom environment.
IN-PERSON Classroom Option
· Includes access to BenchPrep, a robust online learning platform containing the study materials you will need to prepare for the PHR or SPHR exam.
· All study materials are accessible from the BenchPrep online platform only and not via print. An additional resource available in lieu of printed study materials is McGraw-Hill’s “PHR/SPHR Professional in Human Resources Certification All-In-One Exam Guide, Second Edition” and can be purchased from Amazon.
· (6) 2-hour in-person sessions, every other week (select location and date above for time options)
In-person is ideal if you:
a. Prefer to attend classes with others at MRA.
b. Want to interact directly with others.
c. Enjoy engaging in live discussions and activities to enhance learning.
d. Require attending in person to help keep you accountable.
VIRTUAL Classroom Option
· Includes access to BenchPrep, a robust online learning platform containing the study materials you will need to prepare for the PHR or SPHR exam.
· All study materials are accessible from the BenchPrep online platform only and not via print. · (6) 1.5-hour virtual sessions, every other week (select location and date above for central-time options)
Virtual is ideal if you:
a. Prefer to attend live virtual classes with others.
b. Enjoy a faster pace.
c. Prefer learning through “all things virtual.”
d. Are self-directed to stay on track without having to attend in person.

- If after attending MRA’s PHR/SPHR Certification Preparation Course, and you take the PHR or SPHR exam and are unsuccessful on your first exam attempt, you may re-attend MRA’s PHR/SPHR Certification Preparation Course with our “Second Time Around” option if you:
- Attended all sessions of the preparation course;
- Took the PHR or SPHR exam and were unsuccessful on your first exam attempt; and
- Register for the next preparation course immediately following your initial class enrollment;
- If you attended in February, you must attend the next course in August of same year.
- If you attended in August, you must attend the next course in February of the next year.
