Just as employees have the right to start a union at an organization, they also have the right under the law to decertify, or get-rid-of, an existing union. The most common method of decertifying a union is the result of employees filing an RD petition with a regional office of the NLRB stating that they no longer wish to be represented by the incumbent union.
