MRA—The Management Association and Employers Resource Association (ERA) Join Forces

MILWAUKEE, WI (May 1, 2023) We are excited to announce that MRA has acquired the Employers Resource Association (ERA) effective May 1. MRA is proud to serve as the largest employer association in the United States.

Both organizations have a long history of supporting business as a go-to for HR resources, training, and consulting to build workforce excellence. Founded in 1901, MRA serves members in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota. ERA, founded in 1946, serves companies in greater Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, northern Kentucky, and eastern Indiana. Association staff and robust services will continue in Columbus and Cincinnati, along with MRA’s existing division offices in northern Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota, with headquarters in Wisconsin.

“We chose to collaborate with MRA as they are a strong partner offering similar services and providing exceptional member experiences at their core,” said Michael Denisoff, president and CEO of ERA. “We know MRA will provide significant value and resources for our members.”

“There’s strength in numbers, and both our organizations will be stronger and better working together,” added Susan Fronk, president and CEO of MRA. “We are excited for what the future holds. By combining resources, expertise, and the experience of both organizations, we are confident in delivering high-value member services.”

This represents a significant strategic and competitive advantage and a commitment to innovation and growth for both organizations. We will continue to provide exceptional services to help business thrive, delivered by the 250 expert human resource and business professionals that are part of MRA. The focus of the next few months will be creating a smooth transition with exciting changes to come.

“We enthusiastically welcome ERA to MRA, and are proud to expand our value for all members,” added Fronk.
