Compensation Management: Maximizing Your Investment

An organization’s single largest investment is in its people. This course is targeted at HR professionals interested in a fresh perspective on how to maximize their firm’s compensation investment. First, we lay the foundation with modules on compensation principles and components, strategy, internal equity, and external competitiveness. Then, we apply our knowledge with modules on roles & responsibilities in award planning, individual motivation using base pay management as the discussion point, and award management for above-and-beyond performers. We also build in discussions regarding what good communication looks like, case studies to illustrate how systems impact decisions, and exercises that expose you to award-planning possibilities. You will walk away with practical strategies for taking your organization’s compensation and benefits plans to the next level by connecting the technical to the personal.
