Primary responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate/Lead strategic planning
  • Set company goals
  • Evaluate acquisition/merger opportunities
  • Contact and prospect possible acquisition/merger candidates
  • Maintain “higher level” relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Develop relationships with new supplier partners
  • Approve “major” capital expenditures
  • Provide management support for Vice President level
  • Maintain legal council
  • Lead quality/continuous improvement efforts
  • Maintain banking relationships
  • Provide management support for specific Group Managers
  • Involvement in the formation of supplier partner agreements
  • Direct involvement in the enhancement of supply partner relationships
  • Final say in all budgets
  • Manage the Human Resource function closely
