The summer flextime program at XYZ Company is a work schedule that allows employees to work extra time Monday through Thursday in order to leave early on Friday, or have every-other Friday off. Employees are required to work “core business hours” and thus the time of arrival and departure may not deviate from the standard operating hours by more than two hours, except for the Friday early departure. XYZ Company acknowledges that not all flextime arrangements will work for all departments, and thus a variety of flextime options are provided to meet business needs.
