Stress is a spur to action, growth, and success if correctly handled. But if poorly handled, stress can be a cause of burnout, ineffectiveness, and employee strife. This program is designed to help you recognize the sources, symptoms, and effects of stress and learn how to address work pressures and meet the challenges of stress-related problems. In addition, you will develop a practical, concrete self-management approach to stress.

- Define what stress is and describe factors that initiate a stress response.
- Recognize the symptoms of the stress cycle.
- Demonstrate and practice effective stress reduction techniques.
