Coordinate with minimal supervision all activities encompassing the creation and maintenance of the commodity teams and relationships which exists between the (company) and its supply base. Be consistent with all appropriate legal and regulatory requirements while keeping with the highest ethical standards. Ensure that all transactional activity is compliant with the terms and conditions of the appropriate contract. Ensure that the behavior of the procurement personnel is consistent with the overarching requirements of all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Provide Lean Manufacturing Support expertise to the Supply Chain segment of (company) as its supply base as well. Provide support for training initiatives as well as continuous improvement.
