Under the direction of the Manager of Quality Assurance and the Quality Assurance Engineer Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, the Manager, Quality Control or Assurance, or the Supervisor, Quality Control, design and implement quality assurance sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques. Design or specify inspection and testing tools and devices. May be responsible for material acceptance. Monitor production accuracy and end product quality. Maintain criteria and record systems, prepare reports. Contact customers and vendors and resolve complaints arising from inferior quality. Assignments involve responsibility for a secondary project or a part of a major project.
