Performs some supervisory but mostly manual work by requisitioning, receiving, storing, stocking and distributing a wide variety of materials and supplies and ensuring the enforcement of all maintenance procedures and practices. Contacts are mainly with the supervisor and maintenance personnel who perform primarily manual labor. Position is usually found in organization with round-the-clock manufacturing operations, where scheduling machine downtime is critical.
