I am not afraid of an army of lions led by a sheep; I am afraid of an army of sheep led by a lion.”
Alexander the Great

Mike’s father once told him, "It doesn’t matter what your job is, just do something that will make you happy." He has embraced that philosophy, engaging in a myriad of professional and personal endeavors. A self-acknowledged competition junkie, Mike doesn’t believe in just going through the motions. His philosophy is "practice perfection in order to achieve excellence." Mike is regularly described as a Renaissance man, as comfortable talking about rebuilding engines with a group of mechanics as he is teaching leadership to a group of managers.

Expertise

Nearly 30 years professional experience, Mike has been an entrepreneur and manager in manufacturing, banking and asset management, real estate, franchise restaurants, and powersports dealerships. In addition, Mike has coached high school and college football for over 20 years. Mike believes the key to success in life is to never stop seeking knowledge; so he studies voraciously, and he loves to share his experience in leadership and motivation with others. His approach to management is holistic, balancing communication, goal setting, accountability, and growth.
