As the daughter of a small business owner, Kate grew up with an up-close-and-personal experience of the positive impact a business can have: A healthy, thriving business creates opportunities and security for its employees, which they then take home to their families and communities. Kate is passionate about putting resources and tools into the hands of leaders, not only to build better businesses but better lives for themselves and their people.


Kate has experience supporting a variety of HR functions in businesses from four to 400,000 employees. As an affirmative action business partner, Kate brings 10+ years of experience working with federal contractors and understands how day-to-day processes impact compliance. Kate’s experience also encompasses employee relations, recruiting, training and development, human resources information systems, and employment law.

Kate earned a Master of Arts in Christian education from Moody Theological Seminary in Plymouth, MI, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and theatre arts from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL.

Kate serves as the treasurer and a den leader for her local Cub Scout pack.
