Parking and Entering MRA After 5:00 p.m.

When you arrive at MRA, please park in front of the building. Once you enter the building, turn left into MRA's conference center and look for the conference room designated for "PHR/SPHR Certification."

    Dress and Refreshments

We invite you to dress casually and comfortably for each class. We will offer an individually packaged light dinner each evening prior to class starting and will provide a short break during the class. You may also bring your own dinner, if you prefer.

    Program Materials

You will receive access to the BenchPrep online learning platform on Wednesday August 19, 2020 following class. BenchPrep contains content and features necessary to prepare for the PHR or SPHR exam including practice questions with answer explanations, instructional videos, flashcards and games, reports highlighting strengths and weaknesses, practice exams, study plan and instructional content for all function areas. You will learn more about BenchPrep and its study features at orientation on our first night of class.

BenchPrep does not advocate that its program “teaches the exam” and we have found this to be true. Please note the exam may cover some topics or issues differently than the BenchPrep materials. Wherever possible, we will include information and discussions that expand upon the BenchPrep materials. Group discussion is also very important to your overall learning and preparation for the exam. Some class participants have found it helpful to form ancillary study groups to reinforce the discipline needed to stay current with reading and study plan progress.

    Accessing the BenchPrep Platform

After the first class, you will receive an automated email from BenchPrep with instructions on how to register and gain access to the platform. It is important that you activate your BenchPrep account as soon as you receive this automated email.

    Preparing for a Successful Exam

Preparing for the PHR or SPHR exam will take considerable time and effort. (Think about this like preparing for an ACT or LSAT test.) You will be assigned homework to complete between class sessions to increase and enhance your knowledge for the exam.

A large part of passing the exam will be based on reading, studying, and fully utilizing all the features of the BenchPrep platform, along with your own experience. You need to come to each class prepared to review and discuss the content and continue to prepare for the exam outside of our time together.

Prepayment is required for our programs. If you already paid, please disregard. For your safety and the security of your credit card, you may pay online. Please note the assigned primary contact for MRA at your company has access to all invoices online (this person tends to be an HR team member or owner). To pay online, this person will need to visit his/her MRA account at www.mranet.org. From the "Active Invoices" list in the account, he/she can click "Pay" to add the item into the cart and pay. You may also call Registrations at 262.696.3319 or mail a check to MRA-The Management Association, N19 W24400 Riverwood Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188.

If you must cancel or reschedule, please contact MRA's Registrations Team at [email protected] or 800.488.4845. If the cancellation is made at least 24 hours in advance of the program, participants will receive a full refund. Cancellations made after the course begins will receive a refund minus the cost of the learning platform license.
