Building Trust and Positive Team Foundations

Trust, the foundation of all relationships, may feel harder to build in today’s workplace when teams are in separate locations, working different hours, and juggling shifting priorities. Today's managers must be intentional about building trust to achieve positive relationships and results, both in person and virtually.

In this session, you will learn strategies to build a stronger, more trust filled environment including identifying behaviors that promote trust in all areas of your professional life and creating a plan to intentionally build trust across your team. The stakes are high: Trust is hard to win and easy to lose.

Building Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace

It is more important now than ever to be having conversations around diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. Instead of shying away, leaders—and all employees—can listen and learn about others, model openness and understanding, and engage in conversations that will lead to greater inclusivity.

In this session, you explore the differences between the terms diversity, equity, and inclusion, discuss real-life instances of how to demonstrate each, and shares examples of how to build empathy within your team. The impact of our actions on others is critical: learn what actions are needed to value others in a diverse workplace.

Recruiting Right Now: Getting Good People in the Door

The Great Resignation, the Turnover Tsunami, or the Big Labor Reshuffle—no matter what it’s called, in a post-pandemic world, many workplaces are looking for one common thing—staff! What are you doing to find and attract job seekers, so they choose you?

In this session, you will explore what has and has not changed in recent months and uncover tips for attracting candidates for your open positions including finding potential hires in new ways, selling your organization to stand out, and turning candidates into top recruits. To be a successful recruiter, think like a marketer!

Resign? Re-sign! Getting Good People to Stay

The past 20-months have brought many challenges, and in the workplace, retention has certainly been one of the most challenging. With many labeling this current work environment “The Great Resignation," employees seemingly everywhere have looked for new places of employment. Talented people have options, and they’re taking advantage of them.

In this session, you will learn some best practices managers can use to maintain, engage, and retain employees, including having career path conversations, implementing stay interviews, and adopting leadership skills that drive employee engagement. It’s time for your talented workforce to re-sign rather than continue to resign.

Note: This is an interactive training experience. Please come to the session with your camera on and microphone capabilities to participate.
