“Next Generation” Emerging Leaders and the Future of Work

For the first time ever, we have five different generations in our workforce working together side-by-side. Each of these generations was impacted by various events that shaped who they are and how they work. And that affects what they are looking for in the hiring experience, what they want for benefits, career goals, job changing, leadership and several other aspects of business.

Now, add to that massive retirements resulting in leaders in taking over at 35 instead of 55 without having 20 years to watch and learn from others. Or with much exposure to senior leadership. Younger leaders bring strengths in technology (software, programs, integration, adaptation, drones, gaming); social justice, community impact and diversity; social media platforms, impacts, “dos” and ‘’don’ts”; and a different perspective.
