David Born, Regional Director, Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service
David Born is a Regional Director with the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service (FMCS) Chicago regional office located in Hinsdale, Illinois. Mr. Born and his staff mediate labor and employment disputes in several sectors including private, public and Federal. In his current role, Mr. Born provides services including grievance mediation, labor-management committee training and facilitation, relationship development and training programs, and other conflict resolution training.

Jonathan T. Swain is a senior attorney for Lindner & Marsack, S.C. Mr. Swain devotes his legal practice to representing management in labor and employment law issues in both the public and private sector. He consults with clients concerning all aspects of labor management relations including union related strategies, contract negotiations and contract administration, including acting as chief spokesperson at the bargaining table. As a business litigation lawyer, he represents employers in the area of individual rights and responsibilities in the workplace with particular emphasis on employment discrimination, including sex discrimination, sexual harassment, ADA, FMLA and ADEA matters.
