On September 24, 2019, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announced its final rule to the overtime regulations under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The new rule contains revisions to the regulations that exempt certain workers from minimum wage and overtime pay that will become effective January 1, 2020.
