Angela is passionate about making a difference. She comes to work every day to lead her team in making a positive impact for MRA members. A skilled human resource and operations leader with a desire to streamline operations and strive for continuous improvement, Angela has a keen eye for detail. With more than 16 years of progressive HR experience in multiple industries, her skills cover a wide range of areas such as events management, software implementation, payroll, recruiting, employee relations, benefits management, legal compliance, office management, people management, call center operations, performance management, and training.

Expertise

Angela is a leader in shaping the role of member service through regular interaction with members. Spearheading strategies and driving process improvement, cost savings and world class member service fills her days with purpose and satisfaction. Angela is a key member of the Salesforce implementation team. MRA also looks to Angela to lead and grow the MRA Conference & Events division including Employment Law, Diversity & Inclusion, HR Conferences and DisruptHR events. Certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), she has managed all activities of the 50-member, regional HR services department, including the 24/7 HR Hotline. A key leader who shapes the role of member services through effective interaction with member and staff, Angela is responsible for meeting project expectations, financial goals, staff professional development, and varied employee work schedules.

Key Accomplishments

  • Managed a process improvement initiative using new technology to improve response time, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiated the purchase and implementation of a payroll software and timekeeping system that increased efficiencies and provided annual savings of $10,000 in labor and time.
  • Selected as a member of a national work group that created a National Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Plan.

Education

Angela holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from St. Norbert College, De Pere, Wisconsin.

Professional and Community Activities

Angela served on the HR/Finance board for Easter Seals of Wisconsin and as event planner for Dozer Day community event that raised over one million dollars over 10 years for the Hamilton Education Foundation.
