The power of a collective voice, it’s a beautiful thing.
Consider Google and the global Walkout for Real Change last November. Across 50 cities, more than 20,000 employees and contractors took to the streets to protest Google’s sexual harassment issues, its lack of transparency and its inflexible workplace culture. The response from Google was immediate, with CEO Sundar Pichai and his leadership team taking steps to make a change.
So the next time you say, “but I’m just one person!” remember that it just takes one person, one voice, to start a collective change.
