Debra celebrates her 16th anniversary with employer association responsibilities this year – 7 years with Associated Employers before that association merged with MRA in 2002. She brings broad experience to her current responsibilities including management levels in operations and travel & meeting services. Growing up in a family business and being a co-owner of an electronic manufacturing business gives Debra empathy and understanding of the small business environment and the importance of her relationship with MRA members.
Education
She earned a Bachelor of Science from Oral Roberts University in Education and Biology with advanced studies on the master level in Health Education at Illinois State University. Debra has lived and worked in Central America which deepened her beliefs that learning is a life-long process and people of all cultures and from all walks of life bring value to the workplace and to the community.
Debra loves reading, visiting national parks, cooking, and gardening.
