Carolyn believes this is the right attitude in her personal life, as the mother of two sets of twins, and professionally, assisting members to navigate the complexity of affirmative action and human resources generally.

Expertise

Carolyn has been helping members develop, understand, and comply with federal affirmative action regulations and directives for 15 years. In addition, Carolyn has worked with members on the HR Hotline and employment engagement surveys. Carolyn previously was corporate counsel with a large public corporation based in Covington, Kentucky, handling a variety of HR and employment-related issues, including wage and hour, harassment, discrimination, litigation management, employee discipline, training and policy development, class-action litigation, regulatory compliance, and leasing and management contracts. Carolyn holds a law degree and bachelor’s from the University of Toledo and is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Kentucky.

  • Contributed to the growth of MRA’s affirmative action practice, nearly doubling the number of plans
  • Maintained a high standard of service during the pandemic when staffing was reduced
