Susan Fronk
President and CEO, MRA - The Management Association
Susan Fronk is President and CEO of MRA - The Management Association, the largest employers association in the Midwest. Susan leads a staff of 150 HR and business professionals who annually help over 4,000 employers to recruit, develop, and retain a powerful workforce. President since 1999, Susan has led the organization through acquisition and expansion, and directly driven the addition of several new strategic service lines.
Susan joined MRA in 1984 after managing employee and labor relations, employment, EEO, and affirmative action for a 2200-employee division of American Hospital Supply Corporation. Over the course of twenty years, Susan rose through the MRA ranks in a variety of human resource and management positions that prepared her for the transition to President and CEO. Susan holds a B.S. degree in business administration and an MBA.
Susan is a member of the governing council of BizStarts Milwaukee, an initiative focused on accelerating innovation and entrepreneurship in the Milwaukee area. She is past president of the Friends of the Milwaukee Public Museum board of directors, and a current member of the governing board of the Museum. She sits on the executive committees of Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, and the Employer Associations of America, the national organization for the employers association industry. In addition, she is actively involved on the campaign committee for Emergency Medical Services of the Medical College of Wisconsin. In 2008, Susan was named by the Milwaukee Business Journal as a “Woman of Influence.”
Susan resides in Oconomowoc, WI with her husband and three children on Saddlebrook Farm where they raise and train Appaloosa horses.
