Patricia K. Staaden
Vice President, Business Solutions, MRA
Pat Staaden brings 20+ years of HR experience to her role as Vice President, Business Solutions for MRA. With a focus on building training and the HR consultancy services of the organization, Pat leads a team of more than 50 HR and business experts who work with members to better attract, engage, develop, and retain top talent.
The specific areas under Pat’s direction include: compensation, recruiting, competency planning, succession planning, performance management, outplacement, and talent management. In addition, Pat oversees MRA’s Institute of Management which offers 1000+ training events each year in the areas of business skill enhancement, and management and leadership development. Pat is proud to report that the MRA flagship series, Principles of Management, recently graduated its 4,000th participant.
Pat is described by members and staff as “innovative,” “a true expert,” and “keenly focused on member success.” Toward that end, this year Pat and her team:
- Expanded to include expertise in executive compensation and executive coaching.
- Launched Strategic Workforce Management: a series of training programs and services that enable organizations to better link their people and business strategies.
- Redefined its recruitment solutions offerings, adding new options such as employee branding reviews, process audits, and applicant tracking system selection assistance.
- Packaged MRA’s Competency Planning process into a step-by-step toolkit for members.
Prior to joining MRA in 1994, Pat held key HR positions in both the manufacturing and service industries where she designed and implemented safety programs, created employee engagement programs, and conducted training on a variety of human resource and leadership topics. Pat holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Carthage College in Kenosha, WI. She also attended Keller Graduate School of Management.
