Rick Searing, SPHR
HR Director, MRA - North Central Division
Mr. Searing brings with him over 25 years of human resources management experience with several Fortune 500 companies. He has extensive experience in recruitment and selection, high performance teams, policy and procedure development, organizational and compensation design in high-tech, transportation and manufacturing environments. Rick headed his own consulting organization in the Twin Cities area in the late 1980s.
Companies that Rick has worked for in either a management or consulting capacity include Honeywell, Graco, Toro, Pentair, Marten Transport, and Lee Hecht Harrison. He has also taught management and HR courses for Lakeland College and Chippewa Valley Technical College.
Rick has achieved his Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and has served as president and board member of the Chippewa Valley Society for Human Resources Management. He has held community positions for organizations such as the Mondovi Area Industrial Development, UW-Stout Business Advisory Board, Wausau and Mosinee Chamber of Commerce, and Ceridian Customer Advisory Board.
Prior to his human resources career, Rick taught high school and was a job counselor for the State of Minnesota. He holds a B.S. degree from Minnesota State University at Mankato.
