She has worked in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, nonprofit, healthcare, retail, e-commerce, and services.
Before joining MRA, Lyssa managed regional recruiting, employee relations, training, safety awareness, and benefits administration for a regional branch of an audiovisual equipment retail corporation and managed HR functions for a promotional products organization.

Education
Lyssa earned a bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in human relations from the University of Iowa–Iowa City. She also holds a master's degree in teaching from National Louis University, Chicago, Illinois.
Professional and Community Activities
Lyssa is a member of the board of directors for the Northern Illinois Society for Human Resources in Management (NISHRM) and a member of the Society for Human Resources in Management (SHRM). She also serves as a mentor with College Bound Opportunities (CBO).
